Hokuto: I know. p.101 Hokuto: However, there is a spell that only I can use. I have an understanding of the Sakurazukamori's true character. So.. please, kill me. p.103 Seishirou: Your death will cause Subaru-kun great suffering. Hokuto: That may be so.. But.. I.. want Subaru to live.. I know it's a selfish whim.. and will cause pain.. and forcing someone to live.. is very arrogant.. But.. despite everything.. I want Subaru and you to live. p.104 Seishirou: Why myself as well? I've hurt Subaru.. I've even caused your death. Hokuto: Yes.. that is true.. and yet.. I cannot desire your death. However a horrible person or killer you might be.. I think it suits you. p.105 Hokuto: The only one to kill you will be Subaru. And the only one who can kill Subaru is you. So I will use the last of my power to fuel this spell. If you ever.. come to kill Subaru.. in the way.. you have killed me.. When you use that technique, it will be as if you will return to now and take my place. p.106 Seishirou: And why are you telling me the contents of your final spell? Hokuto: It would have no meaning if I did not. To the end.. I believe in you. To not cause this, my final spell, to be invoked. Seishirou: I am not a man you should place your trust in. Hokuto: I know.. and yet.. p.107 Hokuto: I think.. that Subaru is special to you. And so I want to believe.. Subaru: How his eyes looked when he was supposed to kill me. There was scorn in them. p.129 Subaru: As if I was just some 'thing', and there was no value in killing me. And so.. I wanted to become strong. So at least I could make my existence like a thorn in his side. So that he would find worth in killing me. p.130 Subaru: But.. my thinking was wrong in that, too. ..Can you believe a person's dying words? Or was that a lie too, I wonder. I ..can never know. Arashi: And if Tokyo is destroyed, the 'link pin' of the kekkai will be broken. Yuzuriha: And if the 'link pin' breaks, Japan will too, and if Japan is broken.. p.145 Kamui: The Earth will be destroyed. p.146 Sorata: That's no good. 'Cause me and nee-chan haven't done any good stuff or bad stuff yet. *block* ..Eh? p.147 Sorata: And I expected you to let fly at me with a chop or something.. What's up, nee-chan? Well, you're the type that would overwork yourself, so I was worried. p.149 Kamui: So a prediction of where will next be destroyed is impossible. Nokoru: And even if we made a prediction it would be meaningless. Yuzuriha: What do you mean? p.150 Nokoru: If we predict that this is the next place an earthquake will hit, then for sure the earthquake will be in a totally different place. A place that seems chosen because we would be unable to make it there in time, no matter how we try. Sorata: Because they have a 'yumemi' (seer of dreams and the future). p.151 Kamui: Is Hinoto still not feeling well? Arashi: She is still resting in bed. Kamui: And.. Subaru's… whereabouts..? Arashi: We still don't know. p.152 Yuzuriha: And it's been more than a month since he disappeared. Where could Subaru-san have gone? Sorata: There's nothing we can do about that now.. Well, Even if those Dragons of Earth show up anywhere in Tokyo we can scatter here and there to do what we can. Arashi: But if we do that, our power will be diffused, and won't that be dangerous? Sorata: Yes.. but if we move around in a cluster in this huge Tokyo, when something occurs we are never able to make it.
